They screen and monitor their staff well, and the three caregivers were excellent. I appreciated the agency’s efforts to make everyone’s schedule work. I recommend them highly because they are able to attract and retain such wonderful caregivers, and the office was good to work with. I interviewed several agencies and At Home Caregivers were the best ones. We have three different caregivers during the week. We got a couple that we did not like and we’ve asked to replaced them and they have. So we’re happy with the ones that we have now.

I am not even sure where to begin in praising Home Instead and their staff. Home Instead is Professional, organized and caring. I only have care one day a week but Tiffany is always here that one day. I do not have to direct her or ask her what I need done she is just on top of everything. We really like our CAREPro Adrienne and would feel very comfortable leaving her alone with mom in the future.
After she left, mom said she felt comfortable with Adrienne. She recognizes that we need to get help for her and need to take care of ourselves also. I was able to crack my Dungeness crab to cook Chinese style with garlic ginger and green onions for moms dinner while Adrienne was assisting her. She listens well and documents things so she can remember how various tasks need to be completed. It demonstrates how much she cares about her work.

I’d like if they had caregivers with more experience. Home Helpers of Santa Rosa is an in-home care provider serving all Sonoma County. Although I don’t need a lot of care, it is nice having the help to get garbage cans out and do my laundry or things like that. They are very punctual with the services so I would recommend them for that. Our caregiver is wonderful and goes above and beyond to make sure that my mother in law is well cared for. Having a reliable caregiver has been a godsend.
